About the Course

Dr. Joel Madasu is the instructor of this course. His desire is to help you be strong in your Christian faith and walk. He understands that many believers today struggle in their walk or compromise in their walk with Christ. Know what the Gospel is About

“For I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation of Jesus Christ” - Gal. 1:11-12.The gospel means, the good news. But it is more than a good news! It is the good news about Salvation in Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind. In the ancient world, the term “gospel” is used to proclaim victorious news about battles. Later that term was used not only for announcing or proclaiming a victory of a battle or an event, but about Christ’s birth, His sacrifice to offer salvation to all those who believe in Him, through His death, burial and resurrection. So then, what is Gospel? Gospel is the good news about salvation through Jesus Christ from God. So anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have an everlasting life.సువార్త అనుదాని గురించి తెలుసుకోండి.“సహోదరులారా, నేను ప్రకటించిన సువార్త మనుష్యుని యోచన ప్రకారమైనది కాదని మీకు తెలియజెప్పుచున్నాను. మనుష్యుని వలన దానిని నేను పొందలేదు. నాకెవడును దాని బోధింపనులేదు గాని యేసుక్రీస్తు బయలు పరచుటవలననే అది నాకు లభించింది ” గలతి 1:11-12సువార్త అనగా, మంచి వార్త. అయితే మంచి వార్త అనే దానికి మించిన అర్థం వుంది. యేసుక్రీస్తు నందు కలిగే రక్షణ, మానవాళి యొక్క రక్షకుని గూర్చిన మంచి వార్త ఇది.ప్రాచీన ప్రపంచములో “సువార్త “అనే పదము యుద్ధములలో సాధించిన విజయాలను గూర్చిన వార్తలను ప్రకటించుటకు వాడేవారు. తరువాత కాలములో ఈ పదము కేవలం యుద్ధ సంబంధ విజయాన్ని గూర్చి లేక ఆ సంఘటన గూర్చి ప్రకటించుటకు మాత్రమే కాకుండా క్రీస్తు యొక్క జననం, మరణం, పాతిపెట్టబడుట, పునరుత్థానం ద్వారా తన యందు విశ్వాసముంచు వారందరికీ రక్షణ ఇవ్వడం కోసం ఆయన చేసిన త్యాగమును ప్రకటించుటకు వాడబడింది.కావున ఇప్పుడు, సువార్త అంటే ఏంటి? సువార్త అనగా దేవుని నుండి క్రీస్తు ద్వారా కలిగే రక్షణను గూర్చిన మంచి వార్త. కావున ఎవరైతే ఆయన యందు విశ్వాసముంచుతారో, వారు నశింపక నిత్యజీవము పొందుకుంటారు. 

Know Your Identity in Christ

When one believes in Christ, he or she gets a new identity. Faith in Christ brings a new or a better life as compared to the old life. In Ephesians 4:22-24 Paul says a similar thing about old lifestyle and the new lifestyle - “to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”క్రీస్తు నందు నీ గుర్తింపును గురించి తెలుసుకోండి.ఎప్పుడైతే ఒక వ్యక్తి క్రీస్తునందు విశ్వాసముంచుతాడో, అతడు లేక ఆమె ఒక నూతన గుర్తింపును పొందుకుంటారు.క్రీస్తునందు విశ్వాసం పాత జీవితంనకు మించిన క్రొత్త జీవితంను లేక శ్రేష్ఠమైన జీవితంను తీసుకునివస్తుంది.ఎఫెసీ 4:22-24లో పౌలు పాత జీవన విధానము మరియు నూతన జీవన విధానమును గూర్చి చెప్తున్నాడు. “కావున మునుపటి ప్రవర్తన విషయములోనైతే, మోసకరమైన దురాశ వలన చెడిపోవు మీ ప్రాచీన స్వభావమును వదులుకుని, మీ చిత్తవృత్తి యందు నూతనపరచబడినవారై, నీతియు యదార్ధమైన భక్తియు గలవారై, దేవుని పోలికగా సృష్టింపబడిన నవీన స్వభావమును ధరించుకొనవలెను”

Know the Reality of Christian Life

Christian life is not as easy as some say. This is not to say that becoming or being a Christian is not worth our time. It is! There is no other religion that gives us the promise of eternal life, but Christianity alone. Christ never promised an easy life. In fact, He said that whosoever would believe in Him would be persecuted by the world. That is because the world already hated Him. This lesson is created to help you see the "reality" of what we might face because of our faith in Christ, and also the everlasting promise that we have in Christ. క్రైస్తవ జీవితం యొక్క వాస్తవికతను తెలుసుకోండి.కొందరు చెప్పినట్లుగా క్రైస్తవ జీవితం సులభమైనది కాదు. క్రైస్తవునిగా మార్చబడడం లేక క్రైస్తవునిగా ఉండటం మన కాలములో పనికిరానిది అని చెప్పుటకు కాదు ఇది. ఏ మతము కూడా నిత్య జీవమును గూర్చిన వాగ్దానమును ఇవ్వలేదు కానీ క్రైస్తవ్యము మాత్రమే ఇచ్చింది అని చెప్పుటకు ఇది.సులభమైన జీవితం గూర్చి ప్రభువు ఎన్నడూ వాగ్దానము చేయలేదు. నిజానికి, ఆయన యందు ఎవరైతే విశ్వాసముంచుతారో వారు లోకముచేత ద్వేషించబడతారు అని ఆయన చెప్పాడు. ఎందుకంటే లోకము ఆయనను ముందుగానే ద్వేషించింది కాబట్టి.ఈ పాఠము క్రీస్తునందు మనకున్న విశ్వాసమును బట్టి మనము ఏమి ఎదుర్కొనబోతామో మరియు క్రీస్తునందు మనకున్న నిత్యజీవమును గూర్చిన వాగ్దానము యొక్క “వాస్తవికత “చూచుటకు సహాయపడేలా తయారు చేయబడింది.
